This year we started a new tradition in my husband's family by renting a cabin in Big Bear the weekend before Christmas. We were all together for 4 days with my mother-in-law's family and her sister, Maureen's family. It was perfect! We rented this super cool cabin that had a game room, 5 bedrooms able to sleep 12, a fireplace and spa for 6-8 people. A bunch of the crew was also able to go skiing.
The weekend was complete with skiing, a family photoshoot in the woods and on the lake, lots of home cooked meals, touring Big Bear Village and quality time galore in the form of board games, movies and an early Christmas morning opening gifts. We are already planning on returning next year!
