Can we talk about how SJP is not only a style inspiration herself, but her most famous character, Carrie Bradshaw, is one in her own right as well? I also have to admit that Sarah Jessica's twin girls are quickly becoming style inspo's for my own baby girl. They are adorable.

Audrey Hepburn is one of those icons that made easy dressing so chic. I love that she embraced the tomboy style and was a huge fan of cigarette pants and turtlenecks, one of my favorite looks for work day to day. I am obsessing over these Ferragamo flats in ballerina pink. Who wouldn't?

Emma Stone is definitely worth a style inspiration post. While always staying true to being a lady, she pushes the boundaries of fashion and finds ways to make a statement whenever she graces the red carpet. I love her looks and was especially her look at the Golden Globes this year. My best dressed for sure!

Duchess Catherine's style is one I envy and try to replicate. She is ladylike but fashion conscious and knows what works and what doesn't on her body. I find that she remains just as spot on in her maternity choices as she does in her day to day looks. She was a style star during her pregnancy with George and I am loving watching what she is doing now during her second pregnancy. Have you ever seen a more stylish pregnant lady?

Twiggy is one of those style icons that we keep coming back to. Her pixie cut, her doe like eyes, and her simple clothing all make her an icon that women gravitate towards for the ease by style she displayed. I'm having a bit of a Twiggy moment today.

Today's feature is new to Headbands & Bagels and something that I plan to incorporate each month. I derive so much of my style inspiration from Hollywood starlets of old as well as contemporaries today and each month I want to feature someone whose style has inspired me and how I would translate them for today.

Today I am sharing my favorite tomboy, Katharine Hepburn. She may be my favorite movie star ever to be honest. I adore her films and her charismatic charm like she is just one of the boys. As a girl that has always had more guy friends than girl friends, Ms. Hepburn just speaks to me. I love that she bucked the trends of girly silhouettes and went for wide leg trousers, silk blouses and flats! Nothing better than a flat, particularly a loafer, especially for us tall girls.
