Engineering Gals Unite

Last week was the Society of Women Engineering National Conference, which took place in Los Angeles. It was a different experience to take a local business trip, but enjoyable nonetheless. Like last year, my girlfriend from college, Erika, was my roommate. I also served as my companies lead again this year, so there was a lot of running around all week.

I love attending SWE every year, but unfortunately I was unable to attend as many sessions as I would have liked this year. Still, it was another success and we were able to cap the week off with our annual brunch with the SWE Wash U students for an alumnae/student mentoring session.
