Dan and I went up to our friend Tom's house in Connecticut for a good old fashioned house party complete with drinking games, a New Year's Eve toast and delicious food. It was nice to be able to really talk with your friends without interruption and not worry about getting all dressed to the nines. It was great to spend time with my hubby and all of his college friends and celebrate the end of 2013 and the start of 2014.
