#CabinChristmas

We just got back from a whirlwind trip to New York for another good old fashioned #CabinChristmas. After celebrating Christmas Eve in the city with a brunch with my two best girlfriends from high school and a big family dinner and gift exchange at my grandmother's house, we were off to our house in upstate New York for a cabin Christmas.

After opening gifts Christmas morning, which included matching pjs from my sister for the whole family, we celebrated the week with skiing, shopping, ice skating, visits to local towns, family holiday charades, lots of games of Settlers of Catan and even a New Year's Celebration in Windham. My dad and Dan even set up a curling ring on the pond in the backyard and made makeshift curling stones out of gallon milk jugs filled with frozen water. It was a great time all around!

Even though we were short on snow, it was another great Christmas success!
