Love has been in the air since Valentine's Day and as Dan and I prepare to welcome our little nugget this summer, we are soaking up some time to get in some dates before we are a family of three. Over the last few years we have come up with some pretty great dates ideas, that I wanted to share with you all. I would also appreciate suggestions for other date ideas!

1. Go Dancing - Head out just the two of you for drinks and dancing at one of your favorite places. A great way to reconnect with one another.

2. Knock off a Bucket List Item - Find something that you have never done and always have wanted to. Dan and I went skydiving for our anniversary, something we both had on our bucket list.

3. Take a Cooking Class - Go make sushi rolls together or a baking class. Get out of your comfort zone together. 

4. Drive-In Movie - Find an old drive in movie theatre and take in a double feature. In LA you can find a few near the City of Industry that are still in operation.

5. Take A Walk - Go take a hike or a walk along the beach and talk. Catch up with your love.

6. Play Tourist in Your City - Go to a tourist destination in your own city. In LA you can try Disneyland, The Getty Center, Griffith Observatory, just to name a few.

7. Watch the Planes Land - If you live near a major airport (or really any airport with a decent amount of traffic), bring a picnic and watch the planes land. 

8. Brunch - A great way to try out restaurants in your area that you have been wanting to. Enjoy a mimosa or two together as well.

9. Scavenger Hunt - Groupon always has good deals on city scavenger hunts. Or you can look online for an easy photo hunt you can do together wherever you live.

10. Game Night - Break out the board games and card games, order a pizza and make each other laugh by playing games.
